Carlos Iñeguez Armijos - Sidra
Vinka - 3380
7
In Masanamaca, Loja, Carlos Alberto Iñeguez Armijos is
rehabilitating land previously used for pasture, introducing shaded
planting systems at Vinka farm at 1,640 masl to improve soil
condition and regulate moisture retention across newly planted
areas. The diversified farm layout means that environmental changes
between seasons continue to shape harvest timing and plant
development.
This Sidra Bourbon lot follows a Washed process, with fermentation
and drying carried out on-site. Carlos approaches production with a
long view — gradual improvement in plant health and soil
stability, aligned with broader land restoration work across the
Masanamaca growing area. The bergamot, yellow peach, and orange
profile reflects the clean, terroir-led expression of a Washed
Sidra at mid-altitude Loja.
